"Saving Ourselves" modules are designed for flexible use, both as a series and to stand alone. Each of the five modules take approximately two hours to present. In series they should be used from two weeks to a month apart to allow time for the participants to work with the materials at home. The materials are best used with groups of 5-20 participants who are saving for an identified asset goal. When using "Saving Ourselves" as a "saving program" curriculum, facilitators should include an orientation session or opportunity that precedes the series for participants to open a dedicated savings account.
