The Four Cornerstones curriculum builds 'financial literacy', i.e. the ability to speak the language of and function well in the culture of the mainstream U.S. financial world. The four cornerstones are: 1. Budgeting to create savings; 2. Debt reductionand asset building; 3. Building a good credit rating; and 4. Consumer protection and financial institutions. |
